Trevor: a music festival set for Phillip Island, Victoria
What is Trevor??? Trevor is a collection of 3000 like-minded individuals all looking for more than just an amazing music experience.
Trevor is the feeling you get in finding an old box of polaroids, full of summer fun and familiar faces. It's about getting up for a quick dance and not sitting down again. It's the sticky carpet at your local and the familiar smell of the band room. It's a celebration of everything you have ever loved about music, friends, family and food.
Trevor's impressive lineup is headed by Icehouse, and while parents rock out to sets from Ash Grunwald, The Bamboos, Sweet Jean, Brow Horn Orchestra and The Pierce Brothers, kids 12 and under will be sifting through their complimentary show-bag, massive armful of vouchers, gifts and revelling in the huge array of things to do.
Not only that, but Trevor loves his food and drink and so enormous pans of Paella will be matched with a zingy Sangria, delicious lamb shanks will be washed down with cold beer and slow cooked pork shoulder will be piled with an asian slaw and rolled in light, flaky pastry. Not to mention Trev's Deli where local and season produce will be brought together in a delicious harmony of flavours!
Also, Churchill Island, the location for the festival, by it's sheer beauty demands a respect for the environment that Trevor is taking very seriously with a range of initiatives from recycled paper stock for posters, ensuring sustainable practices from it's poster printers and focussing on e-marketing wherever possible.
The moral of the story is that Trevor is well and truly a keenly green, family man, who, while holding a slow cooked lamb shank, can still cut it on the dance floor! He is complicated, yet quite straightforward. He is understated and quietly assured; more Melbourne than Sydney.
Trevor is not too fussed about talking the talk. After all, Trevor's walked it.
More like a brother than a boyfriend.
Everybody loves Trevor.
