The Cruel Sea to tour East Coast in November

There's a rumbling in the deep.
In November the Cruel Sea emerge from the billowy depths to shake off the barnacles and deliver some salty grooves and bone crunching tropidalia in November.
People who have seen this band know that as live performers they're one of the country's finest. ARIA award winning and chart topping albums including The Honeymoon Is Over that ranked 57th in the Triple Hottest 100 Australian Albums of All Time.
All five members were ensconced in the extraordinary Australian underground scene of the 1980s and they are one of the few to bands to find success without losing the integrity of their craft.
Tex, Jim, Dan, Kenny and James have been busy pursuing other projects and the Cruel Sea have been remaining elusive and somewhat mysterious. However, they smuggled in a rocking show to open the prestigious and world class MONA in Hobart in January this year.
The Cruel Sea are firing up their steam-powered ship and playing a small run of shows to coincide with the Queenscliff Music Festival and Golden Days Festival.
Joining The Cruel Sea on the headline tour will be Sydney four piece Cabins, who’s debut album has garnered high critical praise for its dark hypnotic rhythms, its mix of menace and melodicism, and its surrealistic tales penned by front man Leroy.
