System of a Down sidewaves announced
Soundwave has announce a massive sidewave, with System of a Down playing their own shows in Sydney and Melbourne. Last here in 2005 for the Big Day Out (incidentally, sharing the stage with fellow Soundwave headliners Slipknot), and five years after going on hiatus, the band will play the Sydney Entrainment Centre, Tuesday 28th February and Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Wednesday 29th February.
SOAD went into hiatus in 2006, with band members working on their own various side projects for a number of years. They reunited in 2011 to perform a handful of shows across North and South, as well as a number of large European summer music festivals.
These Australian shows will be a treat, for sure, and will no doubt sell out. Don't mess around. If you want to see the mighty System of a Down, get in quick!
