Soundwave announces new dates for 2016
The bruises are only just fading but Soundwave has already released the dates for the 2016 round of the festival. As expected, Adelaide has been dropped from the tour, leaving just Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne with a date with Soundwave next year. The experimental two-day format has also bee dropped, with the festival reverting to the standard one-day show. Interestingly, AJ tweeted that "long sets at SW are here to stay". Given they've moved back to a one-day format, perhaps that means less bands in 2016? Also of note is the fact that the new dates are the traditional timing for the Big Day Out. Does this mean the Big Day Out will not be back at all?

Sat 23rd Jan - Brisbane
Sun 24th Jan - Sydney
Tue 26th Jan - Melbourne (Australia Day public holiday)
