Soundwave 2015 first major announcement

It's out!  Sondwave have announced their lineup for the new-look festival, due to hit the east coast Feb/March 2015.  Topping the list are the returning Faith No More, Slipknot and Slash, along with 2012 Big Day Out headliners Soundgarden.

Originally, the whole lineup was to be announced in one hit.  But, according to Soundwave head honcho AJ Maddah, “a bunch of bands couldn't get their shit together in time”, so a second announcement will be made at a later date.

So, the lineup so far looks like this...

For the first time in its history, Soundwave 2015 will be held over two action-packed days... Holy Smokes! This means better value, better staging, better production, longer sets and minimised clashes...  In Adelaide and Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, each day’s line-up will criss-cross between each city.

Two day tickets will be $188.00 (plus booking fees) and go on sale for Soundwave Members 9am Fri 22nd Aug and to the General Public 9am Fri 29th Aug. To sign up to become a member head to the Soundwave festival website.
