The Stone Roses announce Future Music Festival sideshows
It's with enormous amounts of excitement we can now confirm in addition to their appearance at Future Music Festival, 'Madchester’ legends, The Stone Roses will be playing three very exclusive headline Australian shows in March 2013.
The Stone Roses are undoubtedly one of the most influential British bands of all time. Their self-titled album released in 1989 is widely considered to be one of the greatest albums ever made, and indeed was touted as the best ever according to NME.
Several generations of music fans barely even dared to dream of seeing the majestic Roses play live again following their breakup in 1996. So when in late 2011 the band announced their reunion the news was greeted deliriously with frenzied levels of excitement and anticipation amongst media and music lovers alike.
2013 will see the classic band line-up of Ian Brown, John Squire, Mani (aka Gary Mounfield) and Reni (aka Alan Wren) playing live together in Australia for the very first time in over 17 years.
