Stick To Your Guns Australian tour
Southern Californian hardcore legends Stick To Your Guns are bringing some serious heat down under this January with the Better Australia Than Dust Australian Tour and are bringing Kentucky boys Knocked Loose and locals Relentless & Reactions with them! In what is likely to be a highlight of metalcore & hardcore fans’ calendars for 2017, the pair of US bands are hitting Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Canberra, Sydney, Newcastle and Brisbane for a mixture of 18+ and All Ages shows.
Stick To Your Guns have built a diehard following over the course of five full-length albums including 2012’s Diamond, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart, and the John Feldmann-produced Disobedient in 2015. The latter garnered praise from Alternative Press, Revolver Magazine, New Noise Magazine, and Rock Sound who included it among the “Top 50 Releases of the Year.” Their brand new EP Better Ash Than Dust was released in 2016 in September and is the reason for this epic tour! Along the way, the band crushed stages everywhere from Warped Tour to sold out headlining gigs across the globe. The band’s last visit to Australia was in 2015 alongside Architects and fans have been waiting over five years for Stick To Your Guns to return on a headline tour so they can play by their rules on our shores!
Kentucky hardcore band Knocked Loose have just released their debut full-length album titled Laugh Tracks on 16th September. Named one of AltPress’ “16 Bands To Watch In 2016,” Knocked Loose is on track to take over underground hardcore this year with one of the most intensely delivered records in recent memory. This will be Knocked Loose’s first time to Australia and promises to be something special - their explosive, interactive, sweaty and unique live show is second to none and gathering fans the world over.
Rounding out the tour is Relentless, who have been touring as hard as they physically can since they formed in 2007. With countless laps of Australia with everyone from Trapped Under Ice, The Story So Far and Funeral For A Friend through to Down To Nothing and Comeback Kid, the band ploughed on, turning heads to their sharp take on classic New York Hardcore. Also in support are local heroes Reactions, fresh off the Ocean Grove Lights On Kind Of Lover Australian Tour. Tours with Xibalba and Antagonist AD took the band cross country, while local supports with Code Orange, Comeback Kid and scene stalwarts Sick Of It All have allowed Reactions to develop a live show that can rival many of their more heavily fancied, international counterparts.
Make sure you don't miss out on the Better Australia Than Dust Australian Tour when it hits town!
