Bruce Springsteen set to release new album and tour the world
Confirming long standing rumors of a world tour and new album, Bruce Springsteen’s official site has indeed set the story straight, announcing on both counts that the rumors are “absolutely correct”.
Set for 2012, Springsteen is set to be touring with The E Street Band, kicking off with dates through Europe starting mid-may, running through until the end of July. Info on US shows and the rest of the world are in the pipeline but information on will come in due course.
In the same announcement, the Springsteen camp also want to let us know “that the music is almost done” and they “have almost settled on the release date” for a new album.
So, 2012 is looking like quite the big year for The Boss.
Will the “World Tour” take in Australia? Only time will tell.
