Spiderbait to embark on August Australian tour
The one and only Spiderbait are super excited to announce that they are heading out on the road this August for their first national headline tour in a decade, stopping in at Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth!
Finley’s finest will hit the road with their full catalogue of seven albums, including seminal tracks like Buy Me A Pony, Monty, Four On The Floor and Black Betty as well as a bunch of new songs from their recently released album Spiderbait that they have never toured before.
Released in 2013, their self-titled seventh album is classic Spiderbait, a perfect mix of sweet sounds, double kick and gritty ball busting riffs. With driving beats aplenty the album’s first single Straight Through The Sun was released late last year. It was followed up with It’s Beautiful with Janet’s sweet vocals taking centre stage. Stay tuned for a new single Miss The Boat, to be released next week!
Janet, Whitt and Kram have always marched to the beat of their own drum. From their humble beginnings belting out tunes in the tractor shed on Janet’s family farm to the heady heights of ARIA #1 songs and topping triple j’s Hottest 100, Spiderbait has remained unique and true.
They have sold over half a million records. They’ve released Top 10 and double platinum selling albums and numerous multi-platinum selling singles. They’ve won multiple ARIA Awards. They’ve played Splendour, Big Day Out, Meredith, Falls Festival and many more.
One of Australia’s most celebrated live acts, Spiderbait has continued to own the stages of Australia’s biggest festivals, from the 90s right through to the present. They will play the sold out Splendour In The Grass festival before they hit the road in August.
Spiderbait is Australian rock’n’roll royalty! Don’t miss your chance to see them live when they tour Australia this August!
