Southbound's Promoterotion - Win a AAA pass
What on earth is a promoterotion? GOOD QUESTION!
Have the crazy Southbound folks just invented a new word? YES THEY HAVE.
An explanation…
One of the most coveted jobs in the music industry is the promoter. They’re the ones who decide which artists play on the festivals everyone love to attend. And, they decide who plays when and on what stage. Sometimes it’s a little bit like tetris, slotting all the artists in, but actually, there is an art and a science to it.
And now it’s your turn!
For the first time ever, WA’s biggest music, camping and arts festival is bringing punters the Southbound Promoterotion (Southbound's new word mash of Promoter and promotion).
They want punters to have a shot at programming the Southbound playtimes on the two main stages, before they release the final version in a few weeks. Don’t worry about the Coconut Club, that crazy stage is already covered.
Head to the Promoterotion page and give it a crack. They’ve categorised the artists, stages and days already. All that's required is to slot the right artist in at the right time.
The winner (that’s whoever gets it the closest to the organiser's final set times) will get to be an honorary Southbound promoter for the weekend. That’s VIP tickets and backstage access with a AAA pass to hang with the Southbound promoter.
Entries close on Friday 9th December, so get Promoterotioning!
**UPDATE: Due to an overwhelming response to the competition, the closing date as been extended until midnight (WST) Sunday 11th December.
Good luck!
For those that don't win, tickets are on sale now, however VIP tickets are sold out.
WA’s only music, camping and arts festival tickets are available at a very attractive, value for money price to punters;
• Happy Camper Ticket (Sat 7th & Sun 8th) ‐ $200 + BF
• Weekend Festival Ticket (Sat 7th & Sun 8th) ‐ $160 + BF
