Southbound 2012
Starting out in 2005, Western Australia’s only music, camping and arts festival Sounthbound is still growing. Next year celebrating it’s 8th year, the 2012 festival is bringing an amazing array of talent and good times to the beautiful South Western town of Busselton.
The 2012 Southbound Festival welcomes the likes of Arctic Monkeys, Beirut, Fleet Foxes, Jim Jones Revue and John Butler Trio just to name a few. The lineup and music is only part of the experience as punters are urged to get in touch with nature and camp at the festival to ensure they don’t miss a second of the good times on offer. There’s also comedy acts, food and market stalls as well as various other activities to keep you busy if you can find any down time.
The festival has been redesigned and repacked, and now boasts a more compact 2-day format. And in news to make any
happy-camper smile, the event is now 18+. That's right folks, no more annoying kids, and, more importantly, no more watching of bands through the cage fence! Rejoice!
Southbound 2012 will be held on the first full weekend of the new year; Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th January. As of Friday 11th November, the last of the Southbound VIP tickets were snapped up and are now SOLD OUT.
Fret not though, Happy Camper and Weekend Festival tickets are still available! But, by the looks of things, people are jumping on board and tickets are flying out the door.
