Soundwave releases third announcement
If the first announcement wasn't massive enough for you, the second surely would have sealed the deal. Now, Soundwave have announced their third and final list of additions to the monster festival.
Joining the biggest summer party in the Australia next February and March are Killswitch Engage, the Vandals, Orange Goblin, the Sword, Chelsea Grin, the Chariot, Sharks, Northlane, O’Brother, Dr.Acula and Milestones
Noticeably missing from this announcement is Megadeth, all but ending the rumours of SW13 being a Big Four show...
Surprisingly, the small amount of extra tickets that went on sale Friday morning, 21st September are still on sale. These should be sold out by the end of the weekend.
In other Soundwave news... There will be no Killswitch Engage sideshows. The chances of a Sum 41 sideshow in Brisbane is "fairly decent" while the Blink 182 sideshow announcement is on hold as the details of another show are boing sorted. Tickets for the Blink shows are expected to be "$90 net of tax and booking fees". Baroness, supposedly the other "big metal band" expected on the second announcement, who are recovering from a UK tour bus crash in August, are still a slim possibility for the festival, with AJ saying he is "holding a spot open for them".
