Sofi Tukker are taking their jungle pop around Australia
New York natives Sophie Hawley-Weld and Tucker Halpern, the duo better known as Sofi Tukker were catapulted into the spotlight by the success of their first ever single, the genre-smashing 2016 hit Drinkee. The track quickly went on to rack up over 45 million Spotify streams and snag a Grammy nomination - no small feat for a song adapted from a piece of Brazilian poetry and sung entirely in Portuguese!
Continuing to move up the ranks, Sofi Tukker toured the globe from eastern Europe to South America, all off the back of their debut album Treehouse. They recently snagged another Grammy nomination, this time for Best Dance/Electronic Album. Not bad for a debut full length release! Winners for the 2018 awards are to be announced this Sunday 10th Feb and we wish them luck!
The duo are heading back to Australia in April and May for Groovin the Moo and Cattleyard Promotions are thrilled to present their national headline tour. Special guests will be announced soon.
