Slayer in one-off Sydney Soundwave sideshow
Sydney Slayer fans rejoice!!! It has been announced today that the trash metal kings will be playing their one and only Soundwave sideshow at Luna Park's Big Top, Monday 25th February. Sydney is the only city getting a sideshow, as a kind of "make up show", due to the band cancelling their 2011 Soundwave festival set just 15 minutes before their scheduled performance.
There is the potential for this show to get even bigger, with festival promoter AJ Maddah tweeting back at the start of September this year that "Slayer and Anthrax will do a Sydney Sidewave". Fingers crossed this is still the case! Keep an eye out for more news here.
