Southbound 2016 set times and Stagebound winners
No more pencils, no more books, no more teachers’ dirty looks! School is officially over kids, it’s time to get your iCals out and get to planning your Southbound schedule! Playing times have just been announced, so grab a cool drink, a shady space and click here to download:
And make sure you save the time and date for our 2016 Stagebound winners! The South West’s alt-rock, reggae outfit Great Gable (partnered by Manjimump-Bridgtown Times) and Perth’s indie surf rockers Slick Monks (partnered by the Sound Telegraph) will bring their tunes to Southbound for the first time. In what has been the biggest year for Stagebound to date, with a record 10 local artists being nominated by local media outlets, organisers are excited to welcome these two local acts to the Southbound line up.
They’re also super happy to partner with their friends at Murdoch University again in 2016 to bring back the ever popular Silent Disco. Murdoch student DJs have hijacked a whole channel of sound at The Silent Disco, promising an array of tunes to get your body moving, with Silent Yoga and Open Mic sessions also returning during the day for you to earn extra credits while stretching or shakin’ your thang!
