Portugal. The Man free tour across Australia
Corona Extra is back with another monumental free national tour to ease you into summer! This time, they’re excited to present Alaskan bred, Portland based indie legends Portugal. The Man at 25 venues across Australia this November!
Kicking off in Western Australia on the 31st Oct, Portugal. The Man will then hit Corona’s favourite bars across Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria before winding up in Melbourne on the 30th Nov.
Prolific on stage and in the studio, Portugal. The Man have to date released seven albums while keeping a pace of 200 shows each year since the band's formation.
They have developed a reputation as a must see set at every major festival across the globe, including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, SXSW, Austin City Limits and Australia’s own Laneway, Big Day Out and Splendour In The Grass festivals.
In the studio their sound has constantly evolved. Emerging from post-hardcore beginnings, across seven albums their sound has slowly developed into the chorus driven, harmonic, psychedelic indie-pop that festival crowds love. Tracks like Got It All and So American have won them a league of fans around the world.
In 2013 they released Evil Friends, produced by Danger Mouse (also known for his work with Broken Bells, U2, Gorillaz and The Black Keys), which charted in countries around the world and produced the cracking singles Evil Friends, Purple Yellow Red and Blue and Modern Jesus.
Currently finishing up a massive tour of North America, Portugal. The Man on the road for Corona Extra will take you straight to where you’d rather be!
