Portishead & Mercury Rev Team Up For Very Special Harvest Sideshow Action…
Without a shadow of a doubt, Portishead have carved their own niche over a long distinguished career. Now, some fourteen years later they’re making a resurgence to wow Australian audiences yet again.
With rumours of a new album and front man Geoff Barrow being quoted in a Rolling Stone interview that he would begin work on his portion of the album in January 2012, humorously pointing out "that could mean another fucking 10 years" before a new album is released – Portishead aren’t to be missed.
If that wasn’t enough to wet the appetite, Mercury Rev have been added to the bill to make for one awesome combination and quite possibly being one of the best double bills for 2001.
Be sure to catch Portishead and Mercury Rev in:
Auckland, Vector Arena Thursday 10 November - tickets from Ticketmaster NZ
Perth, Belvoir Theatre Tuesday 15 November - tickets from Ticketmaster
Adelaide, Thebarton Theatre Thursday 17th November - SOLD OUT
