PiL to tour Australian east coast in 2013
It has just been announced that John Lydon (aka Johnny Rotten) will be bringing Public Image Limited (PiL) to Australia in 2013. After a monumental 2012 for (PiL), seeing the band release their first album for 20 years, This Is PiL, to huge critical acclaim, these new tour dates for 2013 are sure to be very special.
PiL will play China for the very first time in their history, before moving onto Japan, where they will make a welcome return having played the 2011 Summersonic Festivals in Tokyo and Osaka. Australia will then be the bands next destination of which they have not played for over 20 years.
As well as PiL showcasing live some of their new material from the album This Is PiL, with tracks such as Deeper Water, Out Of The Woods, One Drop and Reggie Song, live favourites from PiLs vast history such as Rise, This Is Not A Love Song, Death Disco, Flowers Of Romance and Warrior are also likely to be performed for what will be the full PiL experience.
