Orbital announce their return to Australia this May
British dance titans Orbital today announce their return to Australia where they will be bringing their legendary live show for four shows in early May.
Having been making groundbreaking new electronic music since their inception almost 25 years ago, Orbital’s status as one of the most globally influential acts of all time was recognised when they were included in the top 10 of a recent poll by Mixmag on the ‘Greatest Dance Acts of All Time’. This Australian tour comes just days after the announcement of a brand new Orbital album ‘Wonky’ - their first new album since reuniting in 2009 - which is released in Australia on 6th April. Like all previous Orbital albums, Wonky blows away narrow-minded caricatures of electronic music as cold and mechanical.
For each of the four live dates, Orbital promise a customary stunning audiovisual live show well over 90 mins that will feature classics from throughout their career, as well as first live airings of the new album.
