Mat McHugh releases another free track from Waves
Mat McHugh has today released the second song titled All I Ever Wanted from his forthcoming new album, WAVES, as a free download. The entire album will be available for music lovers to download and share for free next week, with the Waves Tour around Australia commencing Thursday 1st October (see dates below).
All I Ever Wanted is available as an immediate free download from the Waves website and the initial track, Sideways, is also available.
People who have already registered to receive Waves on its day of release have been sent access to All I Ever Wanted today. Everyone else can start downloading the song from today and once registered will automatically receive download access on the day the rest of Waves becomes available.
Mat gave away his last solo effort, Love Come Save Me, as a free digital download. The response of people accessing and sharing the music grew his audience around the globe. “When someone downloads a song, they share it with their friends, if they like it, and then the cycle continues” says Mat. “I like the idea of the music speaking for itself and, even more, I like the idea of people sharing things. Plus, the act of giving always feels like, to me, a pretty fun thing to be doing”.
For this tour, Mat will be doing most shows with a full band lineup and there will be a couple of very special solo evenings.
The performances will feature songs from Waves and Love Come Save Me, with the occasional gem from Mat’s deep catalogue of songs from The Beautiful Girls and Seperatista SoundSystem projects.
