Last Dinosaurs Miracle Methods Tour

Last Dinosaurs have only just set their feet back on home soil, fresh off the back of two massive headline shows in Asia (their sixth Asia tour in the last four years) but have hit the ground running with the announcement that they will be already back on the road in May for their Australian Miracle Methods headline tour. Dino’s fans, prepare to shake off the chill of those autumn nights and get your dance on in these up close and personal club shows.
These shows offer fans a chance to see Last Dinosaurs perform on stages not seen since the early days of their career. And considering their 2015 Oxford Art Factory headline performance sold out in less than 48 hours, fans will need to get their skates on if they want to get their hot little hands on tickets to these gigs.
The Miracle Methods tour name is snatched from the lyrics of their Apollo single, which lead singer Sean Caskey declares “It’s about finding and opening the keyhole to creativity in music. How to access and tap into what is needed to create.”
Last Dinosaurs have teamed up with tastemaker site Pilerats to give fellow musicians and producers access to that creative keyhole with the opportunity to remix their track Apollo - offering the reward of a custom Ryusuke Effects guitar pedal, handmade by Sean Caskey himself. Download the audio stems for Apollo here and submit your remix by Wednesday 18th May, for your chance to become a part of Last Dinosaurs history.
The Brisbane four-piece recently released their captivating new video for the third official single Wurl - the latest track lifted off their stellar 2015, LP Wellness. Wurl is the kind of effervescent, sun-drenched track that swirls with phased out guitars, pitter patter drum beats, and fuzzy vocals that combine to float you on a dream-like ride to the ends of the disco rainbow. The video, directed by newcomer Harry Deadman, is a psychedelic and frenetic trip into the idea of stimulation overload, recreating old social and medical science experiments.
Last Dinosaurs kicked off 2016 with a support for Brit-pop favourites, The Wombats for their one and only Australian headline show at the Hordern Pavilion, as well as their own sold-out, co-headline show with San Cisco at Melbourne Zoo Twilights. Of their recent tour of Asia, their Bangkok show sold out on pre-sale plus saw the band headline 3000+ capacity music festival The 6th Music Gallery in Jakarta.
2015 was a massive year for Last Dinos off the release of the shimmering slice of indie guitar-pop and dance floor psychedelia that was Wellness. They scored a top 20 debut in the ARIA Charts, drew massive crowds to the main stage at Splendour In The Grass, embarked on two national headline tours (including some of the biggest venues of their career including the Enmore Theatre in Sydney) and rounded it all out by headlining their hometown Brisbane’s Valley Fiesta and the sold out Beyond The Valley Festival.
