KO KO MO debut Australian tour this December/January
The French answer to The Black Keys meeting The White Stripes, KO KO MO have a raw, powerful 70s rock sound that metamorphosed and anchored in the present. The duet is comprised of the voice & brute guitar of Warren Mutton and frantic play of K20 on drums.
Known throughout Europe as a buzz live band, KO KO MO have mastered their craft on festival stages and touring extensively through Europe. Highlights have included Festival Solidays, an annual festival in Paris with 170,000 festival-goers over three days, Trebur Open Air Festival in Germany and Sniester in The Netherlands. Moving further past the equator with a recent tour in Japan KO KO MO are making way for a ring of shows in Sydney, Melbourne and a festival slot at NYE on the Hill.
Releasing their first EP Ko Ko Mo in 2014, the band further developed and honed their sound with the release of their much anticipated full-length album Technicolor Life in 2017, boasting sleek and punchy guitar riffs, catchy hooks, powerful and dynamic vocals and charging drums.
It may be the first time KO KO MO make it down under, but hopefully it’s not the last.
