Katchafire bring the Best So Far album tour to Australia
Katchafire are returning to Australian shores for the release of their Best So Far album. Tickets for the shows are selling fast, with demand for the band so high that Sydney’s venue has already been upgraded to the Big Top at the iconic Luna Park.
Through four successful studio albums, multiple awards, platinum sales and much more, Katchafire have cemented their status as one of New Zealand’s most successful exports. Their sound is built on the foundations of classic roots reggae with an R’n’B and funk rub, mashing modern dancehall and slinky reggae pop. They’ve crafted a universal vibe, capturing something truly special through a diversity of instrumentation and clarity of sound.
Katchafire are now an 8 piece collective of multi-talented songwriters and musicians, and have become a staple on the Californian and Pacific Roots scenes. Demand continues to grow for the non-stop feel good vibe of their incredible live shows, with invitations to acclaimed events such as Glastonbury, as well as opportunities opening circuits through Europe, Portugal and Brazil.
