Jack the Stripper Nibiru Australian tour
Melbourne’s Jack the Stripper will be touring Australia over June and July in support of their new single & video Nibiru, taken from their debut album, 2013’s Raw Nerve.
Since forming in 2007, the band have been assaulting audiences everywhere with their fierce and innovative brand of chaotic hardcore, a relentless work ethic and an atypical, ferocious on-stage prowess.
Their debut album, Raw Nerve, is a sonic powerhouse of off-kilter rhythms, punishing vocals and extremity. Following it’s release, the band toured Australia and Asia (including Japan) extensively, supporting international heavyweights such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Cancer Bats, King Parrot, Northlane, Ne Obliviscaris, iwrestledabearonce, Black Tongue, Carnifex, Rolo Tomassi, and many more.
They have also played at notable festivals including Taiwan’s Wake Up Festival, Bigsound, Invasion Fest, and Sonic Forge.
This August, the band will head to Europe for a string of festival appearances including Brutal Assault (Czech Republic), with many more dates to be announced.
The Nibiru tour will see out Raw Nerve’s album cycle and the band are currently hard at work finalising their second album which is due to be released in the not too distant future.
Jack The Stripper's live show is a boundary-pushing, total sensory-inclusive, interactive extreme experience. It is one of the most incredibly intense live shows you will ever see and the band are on the road to becoming one of Australia's most recognised extreme music acts.
