The Iron Eye new single & launch show details

The Iron Eye is a rock trio hailing from Brisbane, Australia. Having just returned from The Studios in the City in Melbourne, the boys are preparing to unleash their brand new EP Foreign Bodies.
With Tom Larkin (Shihad) in the producer's chair and Samuel K (The Getaway Plan, Storm The Sky) on the mixing console the new record is due out in Spring 2016.
To kick things off, the band is releasing their first single Just Started, which will be available online from Friday 2nd September.
The Iron Eye’s audacious new track Just Started is a sexy, slamming rock song dipped in Brit-Rock-esque relish and infused with R’n’B flavours, culminating in a melting pot of crooning melodies, chants and scything guitars.
The “Creamy Crunch” production of the track nods its head to bands like Arctic Monkeys and Kasabian, while maintaining the band’s trademark sound.
“Tom was all about the big picture. Even when we were getting caught up worrying about the little details, he always knew where each song was going, even if we didn’t. He always knew how the record would come together in the end.”
“The Studios in the City has a great culture about it. The studio has a great vibe, especially amazing for a rock band like us with such talented engineers/producers (Jon Grace and Samuel K) who really helped us get over the line”.
In 2015, The Iron Eye released their first single, Different, which received national airplay on Triple M whilst the music video was added to rotation on Channel V LOUD Australia.
The Iron Eye have recently supported Kiwi rock-royalty Shihad, as well as Grenadiers, Sydonia, King of the North, Jericco, Nine Sons of Dan, Sub Atari Knives and more.
