Harvest update - two down, one to go...

By all accounts, the first ever Harvest festival has been an outstanding success. Fans and artists alike have taken to Twitter en masse to extol the virtues of the "new dimension in music & arts event". From Lady J to Kevin Devine and the Flaming Lips, the artists have voiced their delight at the first time run festival. Actually, it's not a festival, it's a feeling… One fan even claimed "You know you've been to a good festival when you find confetti in your bra."
In a surprising move, and for possibly the first time with a music festival, Harvest/Soundwave head-honcho AJ has revealed that people with left over drink tickets will be entitled to a refund and that "we're going to get you one". Punters are being told to keep any unused coupons until they can work out the refund process.
But wait, there's more… According to Twitter and Facebook, those people fortunate enough to attend the Harvest shows this year will be recognised as Foundation Members and will have first rights to tickets for as long as the event runs. On top of that, Melbourne Harvest attendees will be "entitled to various bonuses in all future years".
Melbourne and Sydney have had their turn. Brisbane is up next, with the show playing the Botanical Gardens this Saturday, November 19th. Tickets available from harvestfestival.com.au, Oztix & Ticketmaster
And in Harvest sideshow news, it has been announced via Twitter that there are less than 10 tickets left for the TV On the Radio's Sydney show at the The Metro. And those in Perth thinking of seeing Portishead, get off the fence! The final 50 tickets were released this afternoon an will no doubt be snapped up quickly. Portishead play at the stunning Belvior Amphitheatre Tuesday night.
