Hadal Maw to play exclusive Sydney show
Hadal Maw finally return to Sydney for an exclusive headline show at the Factory Floor on Friday, 21st October! After cementing vocalist Sam Dillon (Lo!, Snakes Get Bad Press) into their line up and completing production on the follow up to their critically acclaimed debut album Senium, Hadal Maw are back on the scene to deliver an all new punishing live show.
The band has been keeping busy with shows around the country including a Perth show supporting Earth Rot, and a massive Melbourne show alongside Be’lakor at the Corner Hotel. The future sees them having shows with Thy Art is Murder and Cryptopsy, followed by a Brisbane show with Psycroptic and taking part in the famed New Dead Metalfest in Adelaide. The band wanted to make sure their friends in Sydney weren’t left out of the picture and are now teaming up with Sumeru, Yanomamo and Home Burial for one exclusive skull crushing show!
Backing up the groove contingent are stoner metal giants Sumeru. Having previously supported the likes of YOB, Torche, Windhand and more, the band always delivers quality riifs which get stuck in your head for days. They will be taking a break from writing their second album to deliver the most crushing of riffage coupled with the bluesiest of grooves.
Yanomamo need little introduction to the Australian doom scene but with a new vocalist and slew of new tunes, now is a good time to get reintroduced. With the addition of vocalist Scott Tabone to the line up, the band has wasted no time in reinvigorating their live show while pre producing their new album.
Home Burial will be opening the festivities with an aggressive slap to the face. Having shared the stage with the likes of Full of Hell, The Kill and Birds in Row, the trio are fast making their mark on the Sydney hardcore/punk scene.
Hadal Maw will play a set largely consisting of songs from their new album along with all the fan favourite neck-breaking grooves. Make sure you secure your tickets now to get a taste of what’s shaping up to be one of Australian Metal’s most anticipated releases!
