Groovin The Moo 2017 line up announced
Firmly established as a three weekend journey of road-tripping and memory-making moments, Groovin the Moo (GTM) is returning for its 13th year this April and May. Taking in six locations around the country, GTM brings the party to you for a full day of incredible music and seriously fun times.
GTM is the perfect way to explore paths less travelled with your mates. There’s plenty to experience on the way to each Moo and once there you can indulge in what makes GTM and each of the regions special - a combination of our communities, artists, local food and beverages.
With all of this in mind, they can’t hold it in any longer!

“We’re thrilled with our line up for 2017. It’s a mixture of established, nostalgic and breaking artists and we think there’s something there for everyone. And, as always, it’s so great to be working alongside each of our six beloved regions to deliver a diverse range of local delights at every show.”

New venue for South Australia
As announced a few weeks ago, GTM’s new South Australian home is Wayville’s Adelaide Showground. The new site is very easily accessible by multiple transport methods – planes, trains and automobiles! In addition, there are trams, buses, car convoys and road trips with your mates, plus the Showground has its very own train station. With so many options we’re encouraging people from all over South Australia to make their way to Wayville for a long weekend of moo-hem.
triple j Unearthed
Like last year and plenty of years before that, triple j are on the lookout for one artist from each area that GTM stops in to add to the 2017 line up. Past winners include legends like SAFIA, Coda Conduct and Timberwolf and we’re excited to find even more gems in 2017. The competition is open now and all you need to do is have your best tunes up on the triple j Unearthed website by midnight on Sunday 26th February. For more info, head here!
Shoot The Moo
The Wombats (UK) have a long standing friendship with GTM playing our festival in 2011. We’re thrilled to announce that they have jumped on board for SHOOT THE MOO 2017. The competition gives budding photographers aged between 16 - 25 the chance to shoot The Wombats from the front of the stage, under the guidance of one of the touring GTM photography team. For more details and how to enter, visit Shoot the Moo.
Cattle Crew
GTM’s Cattle Crew launched last year, herding up those who have a passion for their town, GTM and life in general. The love and vibes felt from last year were so overwhelming, we had to bring it back for 2017! To be a part of our Crew, head to Groovin the Moo for more information.
