London trio Daughter return to Australia for the first time in two years, to headline shows in Sydney and Melbourne, with a brand new album in hand. Not to Disappear is the perfect follow up to their widely acclaimed, gloriously dark, 2013 debut If You Leave, and is this week’s triple j Feature Album!
Profoundly ruminative and melancholy, bold and direct, Not to Disappear is even more assertive and compelling than its well acclaimed predecessor.
This time, Elena Tonra, Igor Haefeli and Remi Aguilella feel like an entirely new, different and increasingly fearless proposition, the alchemy of their music - more resonant and emphatic, even louder in places - somehow doubly alluring.
