Cog announce 2016 east coast tour
It has been a long five and half year wait for the dedicated army of Cog fans, and now, that wait is over… The band are excited to announce a run of east coast shows this July.
One of the hardest working Australian bands of modern times, Cog have been on well deserved hiatus after twelve years of solid touring. Since their inception in 1998, the trio have released multiple EP’s, singles, DVD’s and two studio LP’s, 2004’s The New Normal and 2007’s Sharing Space, which debuted at #2 on the ARIA charts.
The band have built a vast and fiercely loyal fan base thanks to their epic live shows and constant touring through regional areas of Australia, that a lot of other bands overlook. Cog graced the stages at some of Australia’s most respected festivals like Big Day Out, Falls Festival and more and headlined the legendary One Night Stand in Collie for triple J.
**UPDATE**
With the previously announced shows all selling out in a couple of hours, Cog are happy to announce second shows for Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney. Tickets for all shows are on sale now.
**UPDATE**
The second shows added to the Cog tour in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney sold out within hours of being announced.
A message from the band…
"And yet, after all this time you guys still have our backs? Incredible. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and wanted once again. You amaze us with your generosity and for that we are eternally grateful. We will do our best and work hard to return the favour.
See you all in July."
Flynn, Luke and Lucius.
