Coffin Carousel release Doom Pop EP

Coffin Carousel breathes a passion for punk rock and grunge music mashing in a mixture of spooky sounds faced by coarse to melodic vocals, supercharged guitar power chords, low note bass-heavy rhythms and versatile modern drumming. Conceived by Howard Noise (Diamond Noir, ex-Hatchet Dawn) early 2012 after three years of song development aimed to found Coffin Carousel with a solid foundation and build an original horizon for growth as a vocalist and song writer.
In 2013 Howard Noise joined forces with Baron Todd (ex-Voltera) and later recruited Dr Sub Hiro (also ex-Voltera) to launch the bands dark sonic textured EP titled Fiend delivering a compelling zero compromising experience to establishing a musical ride throwing down the Coffin Carousel stamp on today’s rock world. Six months post Fiend now lands the new EP Doom Pop paying homage to influential punk icons the Misfits with Static Age and Ramones with the radio hit I Wanna Be Sedated in a dual cover song release mixed by Grammy award winning Neil Kernon (Judas Priest, Sex Pistols, Queen) and mastered by Alan Douches (Misfits, Motorhead, GWAR).
Doom Pop packs together a tight and high energetic experience with a refreshed outlook on two of punk rocks most recognised and pioneering bands bringing the Coffin Carousel unique ‘doom’ like soundscape into the world of ‘pop’ sensibility converging a listener through the haunting drone and epic sonic scape of Static Age before unleashing the contemporised assault of I Wanna Be Sedated giving an insight into classic songs interpreted through the world of the Coffin Carousel diverse showmanship of modern rock ethics and pop proficiency.
Expanding on the Doom Pop artwork and visualization a cinematic production for the song Static Age has been filmed in MTV rock music video class and displaying a deeper look into the Coffin Carousel live performance potency. A music video for I Wanna Be Sedated is soon to also be delivered post release.
Misfits VS Ramones… is there a champion in the punk rock world? Or merely an even match? Coffin Carousel hand it over for you to decide…
Doom Pop is available worldwide at all digital music stores and as a limited edition compact disk gloss-gatefold with bonus track, expanded artwork through the bands website store on Friday September 4th.
