The wicked are like a raging sea and like those that do not rest, Chasing Ghosts have been raging harder than ever and will continue to rouse the oceans in 2017 with the announcement of the I Am summer tour.
Chasing Ghosts have overseen an unrivalled end to 2016, riding a wave of exceptional praise for sophomore album I Am Jimmy Kyle, applause from Triple J and Triple J Unearthed, reverence in the halls of local and regional broadcasters and culminating at a stunning #8 on the Australian Killyourstereo reader poll. As such, there is no better time to double down and take the music across the country again.
October’s release of I Am Jimmy Kyle has been a glorious revelation in song writing, lead tracks Jane Doe and Anthem For Bastards, Liars & Cheats were met with rapturous applause, a glorious symptom from working alongside producer Andrew Newfeld (Comeback Kid) and help from the likes of Milly Tizzard, Doyle Perez (D At Sea) and Marcel Gadicz (Dream On Dreamer).
Joining the foray will be Sydney grunge revivalists The Dead Love, fresh from the carnage of their own tour and exhilarated to cause more alongside Chasing Ghosts in summer 17.
