BLUESFEST 2012 Full Lineup and Sideshows
2012 marks Bluesfest’s 23rd anniversary and much like a fine wine, the festival continues to mature and align complexity with true, tried and tested formulas, delivering an amazing diversity on the grandest of scales. It’s no wonder the it won the 2010 Australian Event of the Year award, and with this year's complete lineup setting a new level for festivals worldwide, we wouldn’t be surprised if they pulled it off again.
The world renowned festival, held at one of Australia’s most beautiful locations, Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm, just outside of Byron Bay, boasts including Roger Daltrey performing The Who’s classic, Tommy & more, Earth Wind and Fire, The Pogues visiting our shores for the first time in 23 years, festival favorites John Butler Trio, along with Yes, and a whole lot more.
Recent additions to the lineup have seen the likes of Cold Chisel, John Fogerty performing albums and music of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Ziggy Marley and Crosby, Stills and Nash amongst a staggering amount of other top tier musicians from all over the globe completing what is one of the most ambitious lineups Australia has seen in quite some time.
The festival takes place over the Easter Weekend from Thursday 5th April to Monday 9th April 2012.
