Tasmania's Breath of Life festival draws closer
With the summer season’s heatwave slowly cooling down, the good people at Breath of Life HQ believe it’s well and truly time to release another sizzl’n addition to the list of the hottest artists to ever grace Tasmania's shores at what is set to be the biggest event for 2012, and all in support of an even bigger cause…Breath of Life 2012!
And to prove to everyone that it’s not about location, but about delivery, and that North and South CAN get a long, organisers of two of the state’s top festivals have joined forces to ensure Tasmania delivers the very best in music ALL YEAR ROUND. Introducing the Breath of Life Festival, SOUNDSCAPE STAGE, giving everyone just a little taste of what’s to come late 2012 for our Southern friends.
“We’re proud to have the opportunity to work together with other event organisers and music events if it means a positive overall outcome for the event industry, local Tasmanian music scene, and the local and state-wide community,” say Breath of Life organisers Stacy File and Clint Pease. “We both have the same goal of raising the benchmark for music events and delivering national and international music that may otherwise be unavailable. This, in turn, will increase tourism and inject dollars into our local communities. By working together, we can increase our leverage year-round and produce an all around superior result.”
From Soundscape HQ- “ The Soundscape Festival is proud to be partnering with Breath of Life Festival. Last year we made the decision to move away from the congested summer festival season and into November for future events. Breath of Life is clearly bringing the top acts into Launceston and we do the same for Hobart. By working together and running more than 4 months apart we can create a better spread of great music for Tasmanians, which benefits our patrons and local business. We look forward to seeing a heap of faces at Breath of Life and it’s Soundscape stage.”
So, whatever your flavour, we fancy your chances at finding it across the many stages throughout the weekend at Breath of Life 2012!
With tickets well and truly on their way to selling out, organisers urge those who plan on going to avoid waiting until the last minute. “We receive a lot of emails asking us to predict when we think tickets will sell out so that people buy their tickets in time. All we can say, get in early to avoid disappointment. Our VIP tickets are only a few short of sold out and the remainder of the tickets are well on their way. For those ever doubting few who wait until the very last minute for everything, don't get left behind. We seen it happen each year, and it's not a pretty sight. Once tickets sell out, there is nothing we can do. “ And, don’t forget about the beautiful people set to party the night away in style at the exclusive Monster Energy double -decker VIP lounge. Limited space available and going quickly.
