Bombay Bicycle Club headline shows announced

British foursome Bombay Bicycle Club are bringing their lusciously infectious tunes to the stage for headline shows early this January, venturing to Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
Following the release of their current album A Different Kind of Fix, March 2012 saw Bombay Bicycle Club play their debut Australian shows as special guests to fellow Brits, Elbow, plus four headline club shows. Overwhelming demand for tickets to their Melbourne club show forced a move into a larger venue, whilst Sydney fans demanded a second show.
The band released their 2009 debut album, I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose, on their homegrown label, Mmm Records The following year they won NME’s Best New Band award and released sophomore album, Flaws. The stripped back, folk-influenced release graced the UK Top 10 and was nominated for an esteemed Ivor Novello Award.
September 2011 brought Bombay Bicycle Club’s critically acclaimed and most popular album to date, A Different Kind Of Fix.
The Triple J feature album reveals on-going musical explorations, challenging any preconceptions and would-be pigeon-holing of the band’s sound; confirming their vitality, diversity and creativity of snappy gems such as Shuffle, How Can You Swallow So Much Sleep and Leave It.
On October 1 the band release their final single from the album, digital bonus track Beg.
