Balloons Kill Babies new single and July tour

Balloons Kill Babies are releasing their brand new single Patches in the Sky on Friday 19th June and are touring down the East Coast of Australia to support it.
The three-piece heavy and progressive, entirely instrumental band from Brisbane entered the studio at Tall Poppy Studios in early - with engineer/producer Greg Olley and emerged with a song that gives the emotional soundtrack to the statement "The End is coming, there are patches in the Sky."
Balloons Kill Babies are aural painters - their dark and visceral pieces are portraits of captured emotions and moments. The instrumental nature of the band means that they are not constrained by the elements of popular music, instead working in movements and waves of music.
To celebrate the release on Friday 19th June, they are taking off on a tour that sees them head north and south of their hometown of Brisbane (and supporting Perth's Voyager & France's KLONE) - taking in Gladstone, Mackay, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide and Melbourne over the month. The tour sees them play alongside artists such as I Am Duckeye, Transience, The Iron Eye, Kodiak Empire, Drawcard and more.
To accompany the single, remixes of the track by prominent prog and heavy music identities will be available on the tour and a videoclip for the epic prog instrumental will be released shortly before the tour commences as well.
Balloons Kill Babies have/are about to take the stage alongside some of the world's best contemporary instrumental and prog acts such as The Ocean (GER), KLONE, (FR), Voyager, Like Thieves, Sydonia, Helm, Guards of May, Red Bee, Forever The Optimist, Transience, Dear Plastic, Without Parachutes, Alithia, Hazards of Swimming Naked and more.
The single "Patches in the Sky" is out Friday June 19 through iTunes and BKB's Bandcamp page. Remixes will follow - available only on physical CDs at shows.
