More Big Day Out 2014 sideshows announced
Big Day Out 2014 sideshows are kicking off across the country and BDO are very excited to share some very special support acts with you!
Sydney-based MC & Big Day Out 2014 artist Kerser is joining the already epic Snoop Dogg aka Snoop Lion and Mac Miller sideshows in Melbourne and Sydney. Kerser is Australia’s rising star in the hip hop scene and they are proud to have him join this huge hip hop billing.
Davey Lane has years of experience as sideman to some of the country's most legendary acts, so they are humbled to have the Australian rock veteran joining Beady Eye at their sideshow in Sydney next Monday.
Joining The 1975 on their two SOLD OUT sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne is City Riots, who will be bringing their signature jangly-indie tunes to what already will be a dance-groove filled night.
In mid-2012, four Sydney dudes came together with a singular goal in mind - to create some righteous punk rock. The result was Born Lion, and with an opener like that it’s not surprising that the Big Day Out have invited them to join The Hives on their sideshow in Melbourne tonight.
If one thing is known about Dead is that they are exceptionally loud for a 2-piece band with no guitarist. Vista Chino also like it loud so BDO have set them up to riff the roof off their two sideshows in Sydney and Melbourne.
Speaking of loud, joining Ghost on their spiritual conquests is Melbourne’s industrial metal heavyweights Witchgrinder. These shows are must-see for all fans of metal.
Last, but absolutely not least, they are very excited to announce that Diplo is opening both sideshows for Big Day Out headliners Arcade Fire with a very special DJ set. Diplo is in Australia with Major Lazer who are closing the Red Stage at Big Day Out nationally
