Anthrax play sideshows in Brisbane and Melbourne
At last! It's finally been announced that thrash metal legends Anthrax will be playing two Soundwave sideshows, in Brisbane and Melbourne, on top of the special show they're already playing with Slayer in Sydney and of course, the Soundwave festival.
It's been a turbulent time of late for Anthrax, with lead guitarist Rob Caggiano departing the band to pursue other interests. The search for a replacement guitarist resulted in Jon Donais of Shadows Fall being chosen to fill in for immediate touring duties, including dates in India, Soundwave and the North American Metal Alliance tour with Exodus, Municipal Waste, and Holy Grail.
In Melbourne, Anthrax will be joined by Fozzy and This Is Hell, while Brisbane will see Anthrax on their own. Those lucky enough to be in Sydney will catch one hell of a show, with Anthrax supporting Slayer in their only Australian solo show.
