All the Colours added to Queenscliff and Pyramid Rock Festivals

After playing a string of utterly impressive dates alongside Kiwi diva, Ladyhawke, All the Colours have been added to the bills of the Queenscliff Music Festival and Pyramid Rock Festival.
On Thursday 13 September, All The Colours will play at the Press Club as part of the Australia’s biggest music conference, the annual Bigsound event. They also play at Melbourne’s Can’t Say on September 7 and the World Bar in Sydney on September 21. All The Colours have also been added to Victoria’s Queenscliff Music Festival on November 25 (with Missy Higgins, The Cat Empire, Gurrumul and You Am I) and Pyramid Rock Festival on New Year’s Eve (with 360, Anti-Flag, Xavier Rudd, Children Collide, Unknown Mortal Orchestra).
For many, the first taste of the clean, retro onslaught of All The Colours was a stunning set while opening for Ladyhawke last month. “All the Colours are here to party like it’s 1969, rolling through some seriously sharp retro-tinged tunes that pop just as much as they rock... they’re ones to watch”, noted Fasterlouder.
Josh Moriarty (Miami Horror), Josh Mann, Jono Toogood and Joe Bramley (Betchadupa) have come together to make great music… and to make girls dance. With classic influences from The Doors to Ennio Morricone and the failsafe classics off a Tarantino soundtrack, it’s little wonder this band is quickly and surely making waves. There is something in the music that can be inherently unapologetically fun, whilst sophisticated. Think 60’s Motown dress sense akin to the Four Tops but with the swagger of Elvis and the guitar solos of Zeppelin.
Their debut single, Love Like This, is a smooth mix of vintage with some honky piano and Beatles-esque vocal harmonies and is available now to purchase on iTunes. The debut album from All The Colours is set for release early-2013.
