Adalita to release All Day Venus & self-titled LP on vinyl
Adalita’s second album All Day Venus was released last September to widespread praise. All Day Venus was Album of the Week at RRR, PBS and ABC’s Dig, and attracted four star reviews from the likes of Rolling Stone, the Sydney Morning Herald, the Herald Sun and the Daily Telegraph. As the Herald Sun proclaimed, ‘Let there be rock!’
Now, the news that many a fan has been sweating on is at hand. Liberation are extremely pleased to reveal that All Day Venus is soon to be available for purchase as a very special double record vinyl set.
This exquisite set was manufactured at the most highly regarded and recognized vinyl pressing plant in the Audiophile market – Pallas in Germany, who have also recently pressed classic albums by Neil Young, Wilco, Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac. Their quality is generally regarded as second to none.
The records were pressed with Audiophile quality 140 gram virgin vinyl. The vinyl is a custom formulation that produces the lowest surface noise and the highest pressing quality in the industry. It also complies with 2015 European environmental standards and does not contain toxic materials such as lead, cadmium or toluene.
All Day Venus is available on vinyl from this week, at all good record stores.
Following the release of All Day Venus, Adalita’s award winning self-titled album will also be released on vinyl. A striking double 180 gram pressing on gold and blood virgin vinyl, Adalita is slated for release on Record Store Day – April 19 via Cobra Snake Necktie Records and Love & Theft Recordings under exclusive license from Liberation.
Both vinyl sets are limited edition runs.
Festival goers may have been lucky enough to see Adalita nailing it at Laneway or Golden Plains recently. In between touring, Adalita also found time to record a stunning series of live videos from All Day Venus, the final of which is now online. The videos were recorded at a private studio in Melbourne’s north.
